I, on the other hand, made my debut for Ashby Ivanhoe on Thursday in the Leicestershire & Rutland League. Unfortunately my game didn't go to plan. I was all over my opponent like a cheap suit coming out of the opening, but then got too cocky and blundered away my position spectacularly. Despite my best efforts a loss ensued. I hope to make up for it this coming Thursday when I shall be playing again.
