Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 23:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. New Venue For The Chess Club
The deteriorating financial situation at the Tramways Community Club has meant that the owners have had to close it down as from the end of this weekend. Fortunately we have been able to find a new home and, as from Monday 11th February, we will be based at the Longton Working Mens Club, Rosslyn Road, Longton, ST3 4JD. There is no club night this Monday 4th February but the 'A' team have an away match at Meir if anybody wants to come along and cheer them on.
