Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 23:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Rob And Steve Fail To Save The U140's Again
Rob and Steve turned out again for the Staffs U140 team yesterday afternoon against Worcestershire, the current Championship leaders. Playing on Boards 4 and 5 respectively, they both drew their games against higher graded opponents but were unable to prevent the team going down by the narrowest of margins 8.5 - 7.5.
