Newcastle 'B' Too Strong For The 'A' Team
The 'A' team went down by 3.5 - 1.5 to a very strong Newcastle 'B' team last night. Overall we were outgraded by 118 points. The top 3 Newcastle boards proved to be too strong for us, although Rob Taylor was very unfortunate to lose on time, in an at least equal position, to an opponent graded 43 points higher than him. This was Rob's first loss of the season. Steve and Mark were the other players to lose whilst a draw and a win for Derrick and Geoff on boards 4 and 5 gave the score line a more respectable look. Derrick is still unbeaten in all matches this season.
