Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Leek Rapidplay Congress
Three of us turned out at the Leek Rapidplay Congress yesterday and none of us were required at the prize giving !! Myself and Glyn scored 3/6 in the U145 Section and Ray scored 2.5/6 in the Over 145 Section. Ray started like a train, beating a player graded 201 in the first round. However, he came back to earth by losing 3 games on the trot on time before recovering with a win and a draw in his last 2 games. You can click here for the full cross table of results.
