It was an unfortunate night for the ‘C’ team as they had to default a board as Steve was stuck in a 4 hour traffic jam on the A50 and was unable to get to the match against bottom of the table Cheddleton ‘D’. Ray recorded his second win of the week on board 1 before Mycle blundered on board 3 and allowed himself to be mated while 2 Pawns up.
