The 2022 Rapidplay Championship starts next Monday 10th October. There will be 4 rounds played on the 10th, followed by 3 rounds on the 17th. If there is a tie then there will be a play-off, with colours reversed from the previous game of the players concerned. Should the play-off be drawn then there will be an Armageddon game, with colours decided by the toss of a coin. White will have 6 minutes on his clock, plus 3 second increments, and Black will have 5 minutes on his clock, plus 3 second increments. However, White needs to win but Black only needs to draw.
