It was Steve's turn to be on the Congress circuit this weekend, playing in the Frome Chess Congress in Somerset. After beating the second highest rated player in the section in the 1st round, it all went downhill after that. A draw and a loss in the 2nd and 3rd rounds were followed by a loss and a draw in the 4th and 5th rounds, leaving him on 2/5 and no place at the prize giving !!

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
