Last night's game against Crewe B resulted in a draw. Steve, maintaining his reputation as our resident drawing master, drew on Board 5, whilst there were excellent wins for Petru and Kasian. In contrast there were dismal losses for Glyn and myself. I can't remember the last time I played an opening so badly. I'm very familiar with the best line against Black's somewhat unusual move-order but, on the night, I suddenly decided I'd like to try something different. If only...
