Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Big Win Needed By 'A' Team
Newcastle 'A' were unable to get anything out of their match against Cheddleton 'A' on Wednesday evening, going down by 3-2. This leaves us with the Herculean task of winning our final Division 1 match on the 1st May, also against Newcastle 'A', by 5-0 if we are to pip Cheddleton 'A' to the runners-up spot, while a 4.5 - 0.5 win would draw us level with them.
