Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. 'B' Team Finish With A Win
The 'B' team concluded their Division 4 fixtures earlier this evening with a 3 - 1 win at Stafford 'B', taking us up to 2nd place in the table. We will take the runners-up spot if Cheddleton 'F' fail to win their final match. Stafford were only able to field 3 players in the match so started off a game down. There was an uncharacteristic loss for Kasian on board 1, in which his opponent had about 90 seconds on his clock when Kasian resigned. However, an early win for Ernie on board 3 and a win for me on board 2 gave us the points. Click here for the match score card.
