The 'A' team scored their 2nd big win in their last 3 matches last night, beating Crewe 'B' by 3.5 - 0.5. Unfortunately this was not enough to lift us up the table and we finished 2nd from bottom - a position we have occupied for most of the season. However, it is worth pointing out that we are only 5 points behind the leaders, Newcastle 'D', who we whitewashed a couple of weeks ago, such is the level of competition in this Division. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
