Four of our members were in action at this weekend's Shropshire Congress - Danny, Stuart, Derek and Ernie.
Danny put in a great performance to finish joint 5th in the Major Section, with a score of 3.5/5, just half a point behind the joint winners.
Stuart, Derek and Ernie, all playing in the Minor Section, weren't quite so successful, with all 3 of them finishing joint 23rd out of 56 with a score of 2.5/5, but still a very creditable performance.

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
