Stuart and Mike were unable to defend their 230 Doubles title this year so Derek and Robert were flying the flag for Fenton on Saturday in what became the 235 Doubles. Unfortunately the flag was somewhat limp as they finished last with 2.5/10.
In the 320 Section Alex and I were trying to regain the title we won in 2013. Going into the last round we were on 4.5/8, sharing the lead with two other pairs. I took an early draw in my game and was relying on Alex to win. Unfortunately it wasn't to be and we ended up in joint 3rd place with 5/10, just a point behind the winners.
