The 'B' team just about managed to hold on to a 2 - 2 draw against Cheddleton 'F' last night. With myself and Ernie drawing on boards 2 and 3 all eyes were on Kasian and Chris and it didn't look good. Chris was a pawn up at one point but managed to blunder a Rook away to give Cheddleton a 2 - 1 lead. Kasian was the exchange and a Pawn down but, with his opponent in time trouble, he found a winning attack, as only he can, to salvage a point from the match. Click here to view the match score card. Kasian's excellent start to the season continues and he has now taken 4 wins and 2 draws from his 6 matches to put him in the lead in the Performance Stats with 83.33% (discounting Ed Brian, who has only played one match).
