I've just realised that I have not been updating the Performance Stats with the results from the South Cheshire Shield matches. This has now been done and the stats are now up to date. There are only our three remaining South Cheshire Shield matches left to include in this season's stats. We will start afresh in September, where the first match to be included in the 2016/2017 stats will be our annual match against Meir for the South Potteries Chess Challenge Cup.
A special mention should go to Ernie 'Endgame' Wilkinson who has played 36 games this season, scoring just under 53%. A brilliant effort so very well done to him. And he hasn't finished yet, as being an integral part of the South Cheshire Shield team he still has three more matches to play.
Also, to Glyn Valentine who, in his first season with the club, has scored an incredible 69% from 21 games.
Finally, the Wooden Spoon to Pete Tidesewell for his magnificent 0% from his 6 matches, to go alongside his single point from a defaulted game in the Club Championship !!!!
