Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Club Championship 6th Round Draw
The draw for the 6th and final round of the Club Championship has now been made. Only Ernie 'Endgame' Wilkinson stands between Glyn and the title. All matches to be completed by Monday 15th August. In the bottom half of the draw will Pete 'No Show' Tideswell actually manage to play a match or will he go for a new club record with a 4th default ?? I've got a 1000/1 double with William Hill on Ernie beating Glyn and Pete actually turning up and beating me. Drinks all round if it comes off. By the way, I just saw Shergar galloping down the A500 with Lord Lucan on it's back.
