Rob Taylor played for the Staffs Open team against Worcestershire in the Minor Counties Championship on Saturday and came away with a draw. Unfortunately this wasn't enough to prevent Staffs from losing by 9 - 7.
On Sunday Stuart and I played for Staffs against Shropshire in an invitation match for the Unity Cup. The match was played over 2 rounds - one in the morning and then another in the afternoon with colours reversed. Stuart got a win and a draw from his 2 games, while I managed 2 draws. However, our contribution wasn't enough to prevent us losing by an overall score of 25.5 - 19.5.
