Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. 'D' Team End 2014 On A Low
The 'D' team lost their 3rd match in a row last night, going down by 2.5 - 1.5 against a Newcastle 'F' team who only turned up with 3 players. A half point from myself on board 1 was all we could manage across the board, with Joe winning his game on board 3 by default. Click here to view the full match score card. This was the 'D' team's final match of 2014 and we can only hope that results improve in 2015.
