Alex's miserable run in the Championship shows no sign of coming to an end. Losses on Tuesday and Wednesday leave him with 2.5 points out of 9 and stranded near the bottom of the table.
I managed to salvage a draw from a totally lost position on Tuesday but followed it up with a win of elegance and beauty today !! This puts me in joint 2nd position with 2.5 points out of 3 in the U130 Senior Championship but Thursday will be a very different proposition when I face a higher graded player for the first time.
