The score card from last night's 'B' team match against Meir 'C' is now in and can be viewed here.
We have now completed all of our league fixtures. Our next matches are in the County Cup Finals. We play Newcastle in the Withnall (Under 121) Trophy on Wednesday 15th May. This match will be played at Newcastle Bridge Club. We play Lichfield in the Jackson (Under 141) Trophy the following day, Thursday 16th April. This will probably be played at Stafford Chess Club. Some of you will be asked to play on both evenings so I hope that you have all cleared your diaries of any social engagements that week - not that any of you ever get invited to any social events !! Our final competitive match of the season will be the National Minor Club Championship Final against Louth on Sunday 14th July. We then kick off the 2013/2014 season in September with the South Potteries Chess Challenge Cup against Meir. It is Meir's turn to host it this year and I'm just waiting for them to confirm the date - all I can tell you right now is that it will be on a Monday.
With only one 4th round Club Championship match to be played we will be aiming to finish the 5th and 6th rounds of the Club Championship before the end of July.
Club nights will continue throughout the summer as usual.

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
