Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Another County Cup Disappointment
We suffered our second County Cup disappointment in two days when we were beaten 3 - 2 by a very strong Lichfield team last night. Despite fielding a weakened team we more than held our own on the top three boards, with a win from Rob on board 1 and draws for Steve and Mike on boards 2 and 3. Unfortunately, Lichfield's strength in depth carried the day and Stuart and Ernie were unable to get anything from their games.
