Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. No Joy For Fenton In Withnall Trophy Final
We were unable to add to our silverware for the season last night, going down by 3 - 2 against Newcastle in the Withnall Trophy Final. With boards 1, 2, 3 and 5 all being drawn, a loss on board 4 for Robert West sent the trophy to Newcastle. Considering that we were without both Neal and Geoff this was an excellent team performance.
