Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Fenton Into Final Of Withnall Trophy
Fenton reached their 2nd County Final of the season following a 3 - 2 win at Lichfield last night in the Semi-Final of the Withnall Trophy. Wins on boards 1 and 3 for Steve and Mike, coupled with draws on boards 4 and 5 for the Finance Director and Derek, secured the victory. Geoff's recent miserable run of form continued with another loss on board 2, and playing like an old boy that we'd just picked up off the street to make up the numbers !!
