Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club Home Page. We are based at the Gables Pub, 450 Trentham Road, Blurton, ST3 3DS. Although we are no longer based in Fenton we have retained the name. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to Grandmaster. We meet on Monday evenings from 7:30 until 10:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate younger children. Older children (12+) MUST be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

'B' Team Edge Closer To Division 4 Title
The 'B' team took a step closer to the Division 4 title with a 3 - 1 win against Alsager 'D' last night. Wins on boards 1, 3 and 4 for Rob, Mike and Robert secured the points for Fenton while Geoff disgraced himself yet again on board 2 !! You can click here to view the full match score card. We are now 2 points clear of 2nd placed Cheddleton 'G' who we meet this Friday. However, this is their final fixture while we still have 3 to play. We meet 3rd placed Cheddleton 'F' next Friday. They are the only team who can realistically catch us. They have a game in hand of us but are 5 points behind.
