Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 23:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. No Joy For The 'A' Team At Newcastle
The 'A' team were beaten 3.5 - 1.5 at Newcastle 'B' in Division 2 last night. An excellent win for Geoff on Board 4 and a draw for Derrick on Board 2 were the Fenton scorers. The highlight of the evening though was a spectacular 10 move defeat in about 20 minutes for Ernie on Board 5. All requests for a copy of the score sheet to put on the Members Games page were met with a stony stare !!
