The 'B' team were held to a 2-2 draw at Kidsgrove last night, a result that almost certainly means that the best we can hope for is a 3rd place finish in Division 3. We are level on points with 2nd placed Newcastle 'C', but with an inferior Game Points score and having played 2 matches more than them. A win for Kasian on board 2, plus draws for Grenville and Derek on boards 3 and 4, gave us a share of the points. Click here for the match score card.
Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
