Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Club Championship
There was one Club Championship match played last night in which Robert West beat John White. We still have several outstanding 2nd round matches and we are really falling behind schedule now so can those involved please contact their opponents and arrange to play as soon as possible. As I've said before, it doesn't have to be on a Monday evening. We are in danger of not getting the tournament completed before the AGM if games are not arranged and played more quickly.
