'A' Team Fall Short

The 'A' team came up short in their top of the table match against Crewe 'A' on Tuesday evening. A blunder of a piece early on by Steve Hill on board 3 put Crewe into an early lead. Draws from Gerald and Petru on boards 1 and 2 left us needing a win from Kas on board 4 to get us anything out of the match. However, it was not to be as he dropped a Rook in what looked to be a drawn endgame, leaving Crewe as 3-1 winners.
