The 'A' team missed the chance to go joint top of Division 1 last nght when they were held to a 2-2 draw at Macclesfield. There were wins on the top two boards by Gerald and Alex but, unfortunately, Chris and Ray were unable to must the extra half point that would have given us the win. We now sit in 3rd place, 2 points behind the leaders, Crewe 'A', but with a game in hand, so it is still all to play for. Click here for the full match score card.
Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
