The 'B' team were whitewashed 4-0 by Crewe 'D' in their opening match of 2023 last night. Petru failed to materialise at the agreed meeting point and, after searching for him for 30 minutes and countless unanswered phone calls, we left without him. That left us defaulting on board 1 and with an uphill battle for the rest of the evening. It was a disastrous night with Chris, Steve and Dylan all losing. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
