Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. ‘A’ Team Edged Out At Holmes Chapel
The late withdrawal of Alex Richardson, due to a family emergency, meant that we had to field a weaker than expected team at Holmes Chapel last night. Ray ended a bad week, with his second loss in the space of 2 days. Draws from Gerald, Chris and Steve on boards 1, 3 and 4 gave the score an air of respectability.
