South Potteries Chess Challenge Cup

The 17th South Potteries Chess Challenge Cup was played at Meir last night, with Fenton winning for the sixth successive year. It would have been the 18th running of the competition but it was not played in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. It wasn't all plain sailing though, with Fenton coming out on top by the narrowest of margins. There were excellent wins for Mycle, Lea and Jack to give us a 3-2 win.
