The Potteries Junior Chess Club, being set up by Chris Hankey, starts on Saturday 10th September at The Gables and will run from 10:00 until 12:00. The Membership Fee is likely to be £1.50 per session or £5 per month.
Chris has also arranged for International Master Lawrence Cooper to come along and give a 16 board simultaneous display on Saturday the 17th September. This will be open to Potteries Junior Chess Club members and all Fenton Chess Club members, and the entry fee will be £5. So if you fancy your chances against an IM then come along and give it a go.
If there are any spare places available after the 31st August, then entry to the simultaneous will be opened to any non-Potteries Junior Chess Club players and non-Fenton Chess Club players, with an entry fee of £6.
