The 'A' team got their first point of the season with a 2-2 draw against top of the table Holmes Chapel 'A' last night. There were draws on boards 1 and 2 for Petru and Chris H. against very strong opposition. A loss for Glyn on board 3 was offset by a win for Steve on board 4. We are not off the bottom of the table yet but we are now level with Cheddleton 'B'. Click here for last night's match score card. We play Holmes Chapel again on Monday in the reverse fixture.
Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
