The cafe has recently re-opened so you can get food and drink (including beers !!) if you want to eat there.
Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Chess In The Park
As most Club's venues are not open for 'Over The Board' chess at the moment, the Club have been running outdoor sessions at Brampton Park in Newcastle. We are meeting every Wednesday at 11:00 until about 15:00, using the tables just outside the Cheeky Monkeys Play Area & Cafe.The sessions are not limited to Fenton Members - anybody is welcome to come along and play.
