Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. No Gerald, No Ray, No Kas, No Points !!
The 'A' team slumped to a 4.5 - 0.5 defeat at the hands of Crewe 'A' in last night's bottom of the table clash in Division 1. We were missing 3 of our regular first team - Gerald, Ray and Kas - and we were no match for a strong Crewe team. A draw on board 1 for Petru was all we could manage. This was Crewe's first win of the season but they are still a point behind us at the foot of the table. Click here for last night's match score card.
