'B' Team Sign Off With A Draw
The 'B' team completed their fixtures with a draw against Newcastle 'B' on Monday evening. This was a good result as we were without both Ray and Max and had to field a weaker than usual team. We have narrowly avoided the Wooden Spoon, finishing a point clear of Holmes Chapel at the bottom of the table. Wins for Kas and Grenville on boards 2 and 4, plus a draw for Ernie on board 5, gave us a share of the points. Click here for the match score card.
