Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Down To Earth With A Bump
The reality of life in Division 1 came home to the 'A' team last night when they were hammered 4.5 - 0.5 by Holmes Chapel. The result was no real surprise as we were outgraded on every single board, and by a massive 175 points overall. A draw for me on board 4 meant that we just about avoided the whitewash.
