Max and I both played for the Staffs U140 team yesterday in their opening MCCU County Championship match. However, we were unable to prevent the team going down by 9.5 - 6.5 against a much stronger Warwickshire team, with both of our games being drawn. Click here for the match score card. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
