Fenton Players At The Crewe Congress

Stuart, Ernie and Derek all played in this weekend's Crewe Congress. Ernie finished joint 4th in the Minor Section with 3.5/5. Derek also played in the Minor Section and looked to be doing really well, going into Sunday's session with 2.5/3. Unfortunately he lost both his 4th and 5th round matches and dropped back to joint 16th. Stuart played in the Intermediate Section and found it tough going, finishing on 1.5/5.
