Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Tollgate Hotel, Ripon Road, Blurton, Stoke-On-Trent, ST3 3BS. We meet on Monday evenings from 8:00 onwards. Whether you are a beginner or an expert you can be sure of a warm welcome. We provide the opportunity to play either competitive chess or just social games. We are affiliated to the North Staffs And District Chess Association, the Staffordshire Chess Association and the English Chess Federation.
The 'B' team have taken the runners-up spot in Division 3 without moving a pawn. Newcastle 'C' needed only a point from their final match last night to pip us on Game Points but were beaten by Cheddleton 'E', leaving us a point in front of them.
