The 'B' team finished 2017 in style with their second successive win. A 2.5 - 1.5 win against Alsager 'B' lifted us to 4th place in the Division 3 table, 2 points behind the teams in 2nd and 3rd but with a match in hand. Wins for Max and Grenville (finally !!) on boards 3 and 4, plus a draw for me on board 2, saw us over the line. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
