Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Tollgate Hotel, Ripon Road, Blurton, Stoke-On-Trent, ST3 3BS. We meet on Monday evenings from 8:00 onwards. Whether you are a beginner or an expert you can be sure of a warm welcome. We provide the opportunity to play either competitive chess or just social games. We are affiliated to the North Staffs And District Chess Association, the Staffordshire Chess Association and the English Chess Federation.
Congratulations to Kasian and Gabriela on the birth of their first child. He arrived yesterday and they have named him Alex. I've registered him with the ECF and his first match will be against Meir in the South Potteries Chess Challenge Cup !!
