I played Kas in the 3rd Round of the Club Championship last Wednesday evening and got truly hammered. I played a Scotch Gambit badly - VERY badly - and Kas played very well to take full advantage of my poor play.
Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club Home Page. We are based at the Gables Pub, 450 Trentham Road, Blurton, ST3 3DS. Although we are no longer based in Fenton we have retained the name. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to Grandmaster. We meet on Monday evenings from 7:30 until 10:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate younger children. Older children (12+) MUST be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
