Fenton Chess Club

Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Tollgate Hotel, Ripon Road, Blurton, Stoke-On-Trent, ST3 3BS. We meet on Monday evenings from 8:00 onwards. Whether you are a beginner or an expert you can be sure of a warm welcome. We provide the opportunity to play either competitive chess or just social games. We are affiliated to the North Staffs And District Chess Association, the Staffordshire Chess Association and the English Chess Federation.

Newcastle Rapidplay Jamboree

The club have entered 2 teams in this year's Newcastle Rapidplay Jamboree on Tuesday the 20th June - one in the Open Section and one in the U130 Section. Teams will be announced once I know everybody's availability.

On another note, we have decided not to defend the South Cheshire Shield we won last season. We are running the Club Championship over June/July/August and do not want anything to interfere with that.
