Fenton were beaten 3 - 2 in a close fought encounter with a very strong Cheddleton team in last night's Major Cup Final, in which we were outgraded by 66 points overall. Despite the result, there were three excellent performances, with Glyn winning on board 1 and Mike and Robert drawing on boards 4 and 5 against much higher graded opposition. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
