The 'C' team completed their fixtures last night with a comprehensive 3.5 - 0.5 win against Cheddleton 'G'. The win took them to the top of the table by a point from Meir 'C'. However, Meir 'C' will take the title if they win their final match against Crewe 'D'. A draw would mean that it would be shared as we would be level on both Game Points and Match Points. However, Crewe 'D' will win it on Game Points if they win their 3 remaining matches. There were wins last night from Mike, Stuart and Chris on boards 1,3 and 4 and a draw for Ernie on board 2. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
