The 'A' team's hopes of attaining a mid-table finish took a knock last night when they were beaten 3 - 1 by Cheddleton 'C'. Draws from Max and Ernie on boards 3 and 4 were all they could manage. Unfortunately, Rob's last match for the club before he moves away to Scotland wasn't the success we had all hoped for. Kasian, as usual, played one of his Mad Hatter games but failed, for once, to knock his opponent out of his stride. Click here for the match score card. We complete our 'A' team league fixtures next week when we are away against Crewe 'B' on Wednesday, although we still have NSDCA and County Cup Finals to play in May and June.
