Result Of The Season For The 'A' Team
The 'A' team produced their best performance of the season last night with a 4 - 0 whitewashing of Division 3 leaders Newcastle 'D'. Whilst it didn't improve our league position - we are still second from bottom - we are only a point behind 4 teams in joint 3rd place. If we can win our last 2 matches then mid table respectability would be a good end to the season. Who knows ? If other results go our way we could even be runners-up !! There were wins last night for Glyn, Kasian, Max and Ernie. Kasian's game especially was one of his wild and wonderful performances that had us all on the edge of our seats. 3 Pawns down in an endgame and he still won it !! Click here for the match score card.
